This is not a Drug or a Stimulant, it has no known side effects or drug interactions. In our opinion, it is just the best thing you ever did for yourself. Seroctin combines a unique blend of ingredients found nowhere else.
Seroctin is an endocrine modulator derived from the corn family. It has been shown to induce the body to increase its production of serotonin and melatonin and in turn produce measurable improvement in the moods, emotions, sleep patterns, and appetites of test subjects. Clinical trials show Seroctin has a positive impact on people suffering from physiological depression and that it also has mood elevating properties in those persons who are not clinically depressed. The mood elevating effect is often accompanied by enhanced sexual drive. Positive results were typically reported within 7 to 14 days. No detrimental drug interaction has been noted.
When you have sufficient serotonin in the brain, you feel satisfied and content. Not surprisingly, the desire for rich, fatty or sugary foods…the prime suspects in weight gain…lessens. Dr. Richard Wurtman, a biochemist at MIT, was the first to shed the light on serotonin and weight control. He found that those who have high levels of serotonin don't overindulge in foods. His discovery was so groundbreaking that it was published in the journal Obesity Research. But until recently, many dieters didn't consider the serotonin part of the weight equation, because only synthetic drugs have been shown to elevate levels of this important compound.
Seroctin is a trade name for the class of gonadotrophic compounds found naturally in grasses, and other dietary supplement ingredients. Among the sources of Seroctin are corngrass, wheatgrass, barleygrass, velvet deer antler, and bee propolis.
The most potent of the Seroctin compounds is 6-methoxy-2-benzoxazolinone (6-MBOA). 6-MBOA has been a part of the scientific literature for over 25 years. It has been studied for its ability to increase both melatonin and serotonin levels in the body, as well as for its antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.
The ingredients in Seroctin are all natural and include an ingredient called Xylitol which is like Stevia, in that it's a natural alternative to sugar. It has a low glycemic index and 30% fewer calories than sugar, and is ideal for those on low-carb diets or those watching their blood sugar. Xylitol is also effective against plaque and may provide benefits for periodontitis. The journal Clinical and Diagnostic Laboratory Immunology indicated in its November 2005 issue that cytokines (certain cell proteins) play a role in the destruction of gingival tissue by producing inflammatory conditions-these conditions can result in periodontitis. Supplementation with Xylitol helped inhibit what is known as inflammatory cytokine expression.
A Candid Report by Dr. Crone MD ND
When offered a choice between being “healthy” in a clinical sense, and “feeling good” in an emotional sense, most people chose “feeling good”. Granted, the source of “feeling good” offers many options when considering human behavior, but for the purposes of this report we solicited opinions regarding one’s sense of “healthy” vs “feeling good”. We know from clinical studies that the body can be “disease free”, but the mind may still be depressed due to factors as simple as diet, genetics and stress. In this context, I have prepared a report that addresses “feeling good” as related to 1) positive self-esteem, 2) a sense of well-being, 3) happiness, and 4) contentment.
From the National Institute of Mental Health
"Research over the past two decades has shown... that depression is an important risk factor for heart disease along with high blood cholesterol and high blood pressure.”
In response to clinical and public awareness of the debilitating effects of depression, a whole class of anti-depressant medications has emerged that act upon the chemical messengers (neurotransmitters) within the brain. These medications work almost exclusively by regulating the uptake and utilization of Serotonin. The most well-known of these medications is Prozac. Such medications do help many patients, but they are almost always accompanied by serious side effects, and some 20 percent of patients get no help whatsoever. People seeking these medications may feel emotionally numb, exhibit lack of energy, experience vague aches and pains or a general feeling of malaise, and often feel a sense of isolation.
It has long been my belief that drugs do not hold the ultimate answer to dealing with depression. Thirty years of research and practical application have convinced me the body can cure itself of depression through dietary supplementation and stress management techniques. Ultimately, I am convinced that the solution to mild and moderate depression is the consistent presence of adequate levels of Serotonin in the brain. To achieve this solution I, like every doctor I know, always recommend a well balanced diet and regular exercise. Presuming you live in a stress free environment and have inherited the genetics for adequate Serotonin production, you will be fine. Unfortunately such is not the case for the vast majority of the human population. I, therefore, endorse the use of a natural, plant source, dietary supplement that has been clinically proven to generate the required levels of Serotonin in the brain.
In support of my position, I offer the following clinical and scientific evidence:
Fact Sheet
- The hormone MELATONIN is our natural mood stabilizer, libido regulator and sleep promoter
- The neurotransmitter SEROTONIN stimulates the body’s production of MELATONIN. In addition, Serotonin boosts feelings of self-esteem and causes an overall sense of “feeling good”.
- Peter Kramer, M.D., author of the best seller Listening to Prozac, explains that when our SERATONIN levels drop, so do our feelings of self-esteem, regardless of our actual circumstances or accomplishments.
- Maintaining adequate Serotonin levels can actually be a life or death matter. Studies have linked suicides, violent crimes, bulimia, and anorexia to deficiencies of Serotonin.
- Obsessive fears and phobias are common among people with low Serotonin levels.
The world's bestselling anti-depressant, Prozac, is from a family of drugs called selective Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors (SSRIs). In layman’s terms, these drugs help maintain the level of available Serotonin that is produced by the body. But they do not produce additional Serotonin. For this reason, people who use Prozac or other SSRI’s often continue to exhibit low-Serotonin symptoms because the body is deficient to begin with - a problem that Prozac cannot address.
The body’s production of SEROTONIN is influenced primarily by diet, exercise, genetic traits and stress. Should these four factors unite in an unfortunate combination of 1) Poor diet 2) Little or no exercise 3) Genetically low Serotonin production and 4) High stress environment, Serotonin levels can fall low enough to initiate major eating disorders or serious emotional disturbances. The lack of sunlight (grey, overcast skies) thought by some to be a form of stress is known to cause Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a form of depression. Physicians often prescribe sunlight, (both real and artificial) in conjunction with SSRI’s as a remedy, the theory being that sunlight boosts Serotonin levels. Unfortunately the presence of sunlight alone cannot overcome the 4 factors listed above.
Most people don’t, won’t or can’t eat the well balanced diet that helps generate Serotonin production. Over half the North American population is overweight. High self-esteem and a positive attitude (a consequence of sufficient Serotonin levels) are essential when attempting to lose weight yet, ironically, many diet programs actually inhibit its production. This can result in a downward mood spiral leading to a pre-disposition to eating disorders associated with obsessive compulsive behavior. As dieters obsessively reduce caloric intake, their Serotonin levels fall farther, thus increasing mood swings which can manifest themselves in extreme behavior such as bulimia or anorexia. In one study, Serotonin levels of a test group of bulimics were allowed to drop, and they binged more violently, ingesting and purging on average 900 calories per day. In another study, when Serotonin levels were raised, bulimic binges and mood problems were reduced. To emphasize this phenomenon, an Oxford researcher, Katherine Smith, reported that after years of recovery, bulimics exhibited a return to their food cravings and mood problems after only a few hours of Serotonin depletion.
Only a small minority of people exercise adequately and consistently. Serotonin levels rise nicely after moderate exercise. If you feel much better after exercise, you’ve probably had a Serotonin boost. Unfortunately, the effects are only temporary. Daily exercise is required to elevate and maintain Serotonin production.
As for genetics, most of us are born with the appropriate glandular system to produce adequate levels of Serotonin, presuming the absence of negative influences such as poor diet or lack of exercise.
Diet, exercise and genetics notwithstanding, Stress has by far the most debilitating effect on Serotonin levels. Prolonged Stress affects the adrenal glands resulting in an overproduction of Cortisol (known as the stress hormone), which in turn reduces the body’s production of Serotonin. Prolonged high Cortisol levels can also cannibalize muscle and bone for emergency fuel (glucose) causing you to become easily fatigued. If this deterioration continues, you eventually become more susceptible to disease and injury. As it affects Serotonin production, Stress alone can overcome all the good produced by proper diet and exercise and good genes.
The equation is simple, Stress diminishes Serotonin levels - adequate levels of Serotonin overcome the affects of Stress. It stands to reason then that a supplement which stimulates the production of Serotonin without creating unhealthy side effects could be of immeasurable value to society.
In February 2003, we were introduced to a clinically tested all-natural mood enhancing agent derived from corn and related plants. The product is clinically described as an endocrine modulator. In lay terms that means this product optimizes melatonin production by increasing the body’s available serotonin levels. The product is clinically proven to produce a feeling of well being and lessened depression that exceeds those produced by prescription drugs, with none of the negative side effects. Several clinical trials produced unsolicited reports of increased libido and sexual activity.
Once our own trials verified the clinical studies, we created our proprietary formula Seroctin, which is available exclusively through Miracle of Life Inc.
Seroctin is an all-natural plant derived endocrine modulator designed to optimize Serotonin production, and thus produce feelings of well-being and, in many cases, increase libido. Clinical trials show Seroctin has a positive impact on people suffering from physiological depression and it also has mood elevating properties in those persons who are not clinically depressed. The mood elevating effect is often accompanied by enhanced sexual drive unlike the opposite effect produced by prescription antidepressants. Further, most trial participants report improved sleep patterns. Finally, results are typically achieved within days, instead of the weeks or months needed with prescription antidepressants.
The benefits that Seroctin provides include feeling good all day, more confidence, less anxiety and stress, increased energy, increased libido and a deeper more restful sleep.

Some people have reported that initially after taking the product they experienced some drowsiness and mild depression during the day, this is normal and temporary. Many people reported that their energy increased and they slept better than ever before.
NOTE:
Individuals who experience much anxiety and stress may feel drowsy for the first 7 to 21 days after taking Seroctin in the morning. This is due to extreme exhaustion as the body tries to repair and is normal. As you know, the only way the body can repair itself is in sleep mode. Some people may experience mild depression during this phase, but this is only temporary as the body regulates. There are no other known side effects. In fact, for people who have been stressed for long periods of time, this product can be most beneficial. If you feel drowsy and heavy, please reduce the amount of Seroctin in the morning to 4 single drops or simply take it at night before going to bed for the first 3 weeks and then increase the dose slowly until you find the appropriate dose for you.
